Our policy for choosing what to sponsor is simple: don't pitch to us, just focus on being so good that we'll want you to be successful. If you know of something you think we'd be happy to support send Peldi a link to it and we'll start following its blog and Twitter stream for a while.

We are proud to sponsor Better Software because it's the premiere conference in Italy for small Italian software vendors like ourselves.
Marco will live-blog it on our Italian Language Blog and Peldi was invited to give a talk there as well.
UX Week
UX Week is one of the best events for User eXperience professionals out there. We are proud to support their efforts, together we can rid the world of bad software! :)

UX LX is a new conference being held in Lisbon from May 12th to the 14th. They have an impressive line-up of speakers and are off to a great start!

This will be the second time we sponsor the Atlassian Summit. We are proud to be part of the growing Atlassian eco-system and cannot imagine not attending their awesome San Francisco event!

The Business of Software Conference
The Business of Software is our favorite conference in the world. We're not a sponsor of the conference in the traditional sense (it doesn't look like they accept outside sponsorship), but we like to support it by throwing a big evening party with food and drinks for all of its attendees. We did it in San Francisco in 2009 and are planning to do it again in Boston this fall.
Peldi was invited to speak there this year, which is like a dream come true.

This is one of our own programs. If you are a thought leader (teacher, speaker, author, guru, etc.) who trains other professionals about usability, UI, UX, IA or web design and you are running a session, workshop, seminar or webinar at a conference or camp where attendees could benefit from hands-on wireframing experience, this program is for you.

The Product Group of NYC
The Product Group is a meet-up for Product Managers based in New York City. The group is currently composed of 84 members who are devoted to excellence in all aspects of Product Management, Strategy, Experience, etc.
Since Balsamiq Mockups was originally designed as a way to enable product managers to participate in the wireframing process we were happy to offer them our support via a discount code for the group’s members and some exposure on our little blog.
Find Invest Grow
Find Invest Grow (or FIG) works with young entrepreneurs, specifically undergraduates and graduates of the past five years, to see them crystallize their ideas, support them through the development of their business plans and introduce them to suitable investors.
We are happy to be a FIG Partner, as it seems to be very useful to them. Here's what FIG's own James King had to say about us:
In the past seven month's we've raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for start-ups and we are growing quickly this year. We've had several new businesses march out the door and many more are in development. The reason I wanted to let you know this is, as Balsamiq has become a key part in our delivery. If one of our Seed companies reaches our workshop level we spend half a day with them mocking up websites on Balsamiq for their presentations to investors and so they can get accurate quotes from web developers and it works a treat. The investors love the quick visualisation and the web development companies we work with love the clarity it brings to the briefs! One concept in particular came to us, 5 weeks ago. She spent a week using FIG's tools to test her idea and complete a proposal. She was invited to attend a workshop the week after. At the workshop we created Balsamiq mock-ups and sent them to our web developers. The web developers came back with a quote 2 days later (on the Friday). On the Monday she pitched to our investors and at the end of her third week she'd raised all the money she needed to start her venture. The developers started work last week and the beta will be going into testing in 6 weeks time. I genuinely don't believe this would be possible without your software, so I wanted to say thank you!
