Mockups for Desktop#

Our best seller is Mockups for Desktop. It’s an application you install on your computers and runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. The license key is tied to humans, not particular machines.

Mockups for Desktop saves and loads files from your computer, just like Microsoft Word or all the other desktop applications you’re used to using.

There are lots of ways to share your work with your team and with external clients when using Mockups for Desktop: you can send bmml files around, you can host them on a shared drive or on Dropbox, you can email people interactive, interlinked PDFs of your work. See more.

myBalsamiq#

Our newest Mockups version is myBalsamiq, a subscription-based web application that runs in your browser. There’s nothing to install, and it allows an unlimited number of users on your projects.

myBalsamiq is designed for collaboration, and really shines when working with remote teams and/or external clients. You create projects, invite your team and external collaborators to join, and can even set different access levels (private, website, blog, wiki). You can easily see a mockup’s history, roll back, or propose an alternate version without overwriting or losing versions. You can create interactive prototypes and send them to your clients for review simply by sending them a link. There’s also Skype integration, RSS feeds, the works.

myBalsamiq comes with an in-browser wireframe editor that’s extremely similar to the Desktop one, and also comes with an offer for Mockups for Desktop at half the regular price for you and your team.
