How does the trial work?
When you sign up you’ll get a free, unlimited plan. After 30 days, you’ll have to enter your credit card details and pick a plan that works for you. You will be able to upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription at any time.
What are the payment terms?
myBalsamiq is a month-to-month service. There is no contract or long term obligation. You are billed on a monthly basis, and if you cancel you will not be billed again. We do not issue invoices, but you will receive a receipt after each payment.
What are Active Projects?
Active Projects are projects your team can work on. Once a project is completed you can download it to use with the Desktop app, delete it or archive it. Archived projects don’t count against your plan’s quota, but can only be unarchived or deleted.
Can I reuse my Mockups for Desktop license?
You can apply your license keys towards a credit in myBalsamiq, worth 50% of what you spent on them. For example, a Desktop 5-pack ($379) is worth $189.50 in myBalsamiq credit.

How safe is my data?
As safe as we can possibly make it. Your data is stored in Amazon’s Web Services and backed up in real time, in two geographical locations. We have never lost anyone’s data, but have tested procedures in place to recover from backup if needed.
How private is my data?
We use SSL encryption on all sites. You can make a project public if you wish, but you need to do it explicitly. There are a few features that allow people to see your project data even if the project is private, but those are protected via a hard-to-guess key.
No disk space limits?
Instead of hard limits, we have soft disk usage limits to prevent abuse, and typically most customers use a small fraction of the limit. If you find yourself needing more disk space for a legitimate use,
email us.
Can I install myBalsamiq behind my firewall?
Not at the moment, but it’s on the roadmap.
